Twenty plus years ago, when I first started teaching people to use computers, the software applications available had very specific and quite limited functionality. This meant we could teach fairly standard courses to everyone, no matter their industry, no matter their job. We just taught it all. Over the years business applications have become much more complex and feature-rich, and people have much less time to spend upgrading their skills. So when I co-founded Polestar Solutions several years ago, we shifted the focus of our training from the software to the business process. The training we provide at Polestar Solutions is designed to help our clients meet their business goals, and every training program is customized with those goals in mind. When I speak of customization, I do not just mean using specific training examples based on your work product, I am speaking of incorporating your business process into the training. We begin by learning from you. We learn what you do, how you work and what business goals are driving the need for training. With that knowledge we build a training and support program designed to achieve those goals.
At Polestar Solutions we provide training on desktop applications, proprietary systems, graphic programs, programming languages and network systems.
